Hot dog. There's plenty of art openings down in Southtown. The Blue Star Arts Complex has plenty of art spaces with openings and receptions running from about 6pm to 10pm. There are several other galleries radiating North along Alamo and South along Flores. Some of my favorite venues with music include La Tuna, Mad Hatter's Tea and Beethoven Bier Garten. Or you might even want to go to Hermann Sons for the Friday Bowl.
