Some ideas: - The Botanical Gardens still has their display of low-water yard options . - I still laugh when I come across the phrase Food not Lawns,which really is a creepy double irontendre. - Come to think of it, it is the time to plant your Fall garden. The Cash for Clunkers dealio runs out this weekend. I have never recommended a new car, but the rebate may tip the scales, depending on your purchase. I am a much bigger fan of the $8,000 first-time home buyer credit especially considering the incredible mortgage rates available. If you haven't owned a principal residence since 2006, you may qualify for this free money fandango. $8,000 - yowza! This won't last, so give us a holler if you are considering buying a home.
